Ece is the best teacher ever. I had an overall positive experience of the school. The location, classrooms, small class sizes, curriculum, literally everything was great. It gave me an awesome foundation in Turkish and I would do it all over again! Shout out to Elif for also creating an amazing welcoming vibe. Great team, great people, great learning experience.
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...Everything about this experience exceeded my expectations. Suprisingly, I learned a lot of Turkish. Elif is an incredible teacher… one of the best teachers that I’ve ever had. I purchased the next series of books, and I’m considering taking online classes once I return home to Ecuador. The location of the school was perfect for us… a total of 20 minutes including walking, and taking the funicular. The school was lovely. I appreciated that tea was offered all day, and I loved that we got to sample a few things that were being made for the teachers during lunch. I was sad to leave, and I wish that I could have stayed another couple of weeks. But I will continue my studies.
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...As a retired teacher with over 40 years experience, I can recognize a stellar instructor, and let me tell you .... nobody has ever compared to Elif. She is young, full of energy, compassionate, has a sense of humor when needed, and most important, never appears upset when a student makes a mistake.
The course work is clearly set out with appropriate lesson book and homework book but nothing succeeds as much as the classroom lessons.
The facilitiy is delightful, easy to locate a few steps from Taksim Square, and is always clean.
Highest ratings for the program! It was picture perfect.
RTS Istanbul was a suitable place for me to study Turkish as I had two weeks of time and was almost a complete beginner. The first teacher was not very good due to her low English level, although she taught us many useful everyday expressions, but the teacher changed and the second one was much better at English and more systematic.
We learned with the help of the school´s own text and exercise books. I did an intensive course, meaning that I had an extra private lesson at the end of each day which was used mostly for oral comprehension exercises through video material.
We practiced vocabulary, grammar, speaking and oral comprehension. The emphasis was on vocabulary and grammar, and during the two weeks I learned greetings, possessive suffixes, the present verb tense, the past tense, telling the time, directions etc. Learning more everyday phrases and communication would have made the course even better.
The school was located right next to Taksim Square and had small classrooms suitable for 3-5 students. During the breaks you could get tea and Turkish coffee for free.
I had a great time and excellent way of teaching at the Royal Turkish School (my teacher was Ece). I was at A2 and the level of teaching and what I've learned in three weeks were beyond what I was expecting. During the class, we always had grammar lessons, voabulary, listenning, speaking ( always speaking about what we did the day before), we had our homework everyday to train. And I really feel progressing in Turkish language
Ece was perfect, a very good teacher
I unfortunately couldn't book an additional week as I had to go back to work the week after
Everything was very well organized. The teachers Sheima and Elif were very good and I will enroll again in January next year.
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...Each class focused on a different topic, and my teacher, Emine, was understanding of my level of Turkish and was able to guide me through at a reasonable pace. The structure of the classes was sufficient in the way that the theory came first with the examples, exercises and practise following. Location was superb, only 500m from my accom. Facilities included clean toilets, fresh drinking water, coffee and tea, lounge area. Activities were limited. I believe there was a lack of effort to connect students together and socialise with other classes, also given that I was a solo student in my class for a week, the impact felt heavier. However the privacy was great for learning at a faster level and more tailored experience.
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...Everything was super!!! Teacher very professional, nice and helpful!
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...The Location is close to the Taksim meydani, it just took me one station per metro to get from my apartment to the school. I chose to stay in an apartment on my own which I booked via airbnb. The school had several classes on different levels so everyone could find the most fitting class. The class I have been was very small. We were 3 people during the two weeks. The people came from all over the world which was very nice. My teacher was very friendly but she also was very rushed so we had to do a lot of exercise and homework every day. But that was actually a good thing as I was forced to practise everyday so I could still understand everything in the course.
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...The school was well located and easy to reach. Everyone was very kind, warm, and welcoming. I felt very comfortable. The same applies to my teacher Emine. The speed at which the class was given was adequate and I could follow it easily whilst feeling comfortable enough to ask questions. My host family was also very welcoming.
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...The course was very good, maybe we weren’t going too fast at some point, though I have to say I’m a slow learner and with group classes there is always the chance to be a bit behind.
I liked my teacher a lot, she was prepared and patient, an important characteristic that not all teachers have got.
The school is small, but nice, very cozy and everybody, from other teacher to any other worker there are helpful and nice towards you. Highly recommended school.
The only thing that I wished, if I have to really find something negative, it’s that I wanted some social activities and we had none.
I have only good things (the best, actually) to say about this course provider. They helped me register with very short notice and made my week an unforgettable learning experience. Very competent and easy-going staff members and very clear and professional communication at all times. My teacher was GREAT! Not only was she excellent in explaining and teaching Turkish. She was also very flexible in adapting the teaching content and pace to my current level of energy and motivation. This made the course hours very enjoyable and although being a very intensive course, I walked out of the school every day with a smile on my face and lots of new energy.
The homework exercises given for the next day were also very helpful to me and my best experience of the Istanbul week was actually sitting at a café in the evening and doing my homework while enjoying the city vibe. The location of the school is perfect (right at the Taksim square) and I would really recommend this to everyone. My main purpose for taking this course was not to become fluent in Turkish but rather to do something out of the ordinary and taste a new language for fun. For this purpose, I can assure that Royal Turkish School (with their level of professionality and flexibility) is a perfect choice! I actually can't wait to have the opportunity to come back for another week as soon as I can :)
I think the location of the school is fantastic. It's very easy to get there with metro or bus and there are lots of things to do around the school. I personally stayed in an AirB&B around the Taksim area so I could just walk to the school. I preferred to stay in Taksim so I could easily hangout with my peers after classes and didn't have to rush in the morning to get to class. I also enjoyed having my own private space instead of sharing. The teachers were super friendly and helpful. I had Emine as a teacher. She was superb! She was very well prepared and had a lot of experience. She was kind and professional. We even had a field trip and a little goodbye party for the students when they left. During my goodbye, we had a dance party with the rest of the school.
The books we used were very helpful also. I am still using them now and I really enjoy them. The school was clean and a lovely lady gave us coffee or tea at every break. I would highly recommend this school. I enjoyed it so much, that I continue to take lessons will Elif online. She is also amazing! I am learning so much from her, and because it's a private class, I get the attention all to myself. This means, she really gets to know my strong and weak areas and we work on them together to improve.
The administration is also very helpful and quick to answer questions or concerns.
I highly recommend in person or online lessons with the Royal Turkish School in Istanbul!
The school was easy to find and conveniently located near Taksim Square. Within walking distance to and from the bus stops and metro station.
The interior was modern, light, airy and well maintained. The first day I was 30min. late because the first two buses wouldn’t open their doors at the bus stop because they were too crowded. Istanbul traffic is an experience in itself. So the next day I left a bit earlier.
A wonderful reception by the staff of the school. The first morning I spent some time apart with a teacher to assess my level.
Starting Tuesday I joined a class of five. Our teacher Sena was wonderful and managed to explain everything without resorting to English, even if she had to act it out. There was a lot of laughter and I enjoyed it immensely. Teaching materials were also quite good. The amount of homework was doable.
As to the housing, that is a bit more complicated and in some respect disappointing.
First of all let me start by saying that the couple that I stayed with were very nice, the room and the bed were fine. The neighborhood was certainly not the best in Istanbul and at first I felt a bit unsafe in the street. The apartment was in the basement and had no real windows. But it was clean and they were very friendly.
The information said that they spoke English, but other then “yes” and “no” that turned out not to be the case. Thank goodness for Google translate. No real problem, but my Turkish is not so good yet and they speak very fast. I felt a bit bad that they had obviously given me their own bedroom.
Both the husband and wife work in the restaurant business and were never home. That, unfortunately, also meant that there were no evening meals available after the first night. They said I could feel free to use their kitchen for anything, but other than some dried beans (that I don’t know how to cook) and rice there was no food in the house. For breakfast there was some bread and butter, but after Wednesday not even that, so I left the house on an empty stomach and bought a simit and a bottle of water at Taksim Square before school. In the evenings I either made sure to eat something before going home, or I had a decent lunch and bought something like cookies in the corner store by the bus stop. I didn’t go out again after I got home because of the neighborhood.
This was not quite how I was expecting my home stay to be.
As they worked in the afternoon and evening they would get home after midnight and would start doing their house hold chores. All very understandable, but not the best of situations to try and sleep in. By Thursday I was so tired I felt like crying.
I didn’t complain about anything because I felt they were doing the best they could under their circumstances and neither of them were very well that week. They were both a bit sick.
Needless to say I won’t be repeating the home stay next time (and there will be a next time for sure).
The pick up from the airport was very well organised. The driver had a few moments of road rage, but as it turns out, that is a natural state in Istanbul.
It might be a good idea to also offer a return transfer back to the airport?
The city of Istanbul is a wonderful city with lots of things to see. It is easy to get around by public transport.
To end on a positive note: I lost two kilo’s that week.
I booked the standard course for 4 weeks at RTS in Taksim.
Prior to this course, have already had some Turkish knowledge, but not much (A1) because I had learned Turkish for half an year at university.
The school is quite easy to reach by metro or bus and located next to a park. Its classrooms are rather small, but very bright and clean. There are 1-5 students per class, which is a good amount. The course material consists of a school book and a workbook as well as of an biro and a small notepad. The books offer a lot of practice opportunities and their topics were quite close to everyday life.
The people working for RTS were very helpful and friendly. After every 45 min of lesson, there is a 10 min break. In these breaks, you are offered a small drink (water, tea, coffee, turkish coffee) which they bring you for free. That was very kind.
Unfortunately, every break is introduced by a very (!) loud acoustic signal. This signal/melody returns when the break is about to end as well as when the break is over. That hurt my ears.
To avoid wrong expectations:
1) On some days, the Wi-Fi did not work. Thus, please do not expect working Wi-Fi.
2) There are no cultural trips or sports activities or social activities as mentioned. Or at least I did not experience that.
3) You can not decide whether you have lessons in the morning or in the afternoon. And the time of your lessons stay for your whole stay, unless you change class.
4) You will get homework. But that did not take me longer than 20-60 min daily.
5) Classes were not held in Turkish only. We also used English in class and sometimes/often the teachers used English for explanations. Thus, the sentence "you will start learning very fast because all our classes will be held in Turkish only" is not true. However, their English is very basic/limited, so do not rely on the teacher's English skills.
7) There are no partner or group works, no learning games and modern concepts of teaching. Instead, most of the time we did exercises in the book and sometimes the teacher explained new grammar on the blackboard or asked us questions. Sometimes, there were listening exercises or we practiced some speaking (but the latter depended on the teacher).
I had to change class two times because they misplaced me.
On my first day, they took me out of the class after 10 min because I was not able to take part in the conversations; the level was far too high. They told me, they only have a class consisting of complete beginners that they can put me in instead, but no level in between.
So I agreed and spent week 1 and 2 in the class where they started from zero.
That was actually quite frustrating for me; the speed was to low and I felt unchallenged. Therefore, I parallelly did the exercises of the further units while participating in class.
I think, the books are made to last for roughly 4 weeks, but at the end of my second week, I had finished both books. At this point, when I showed my teacher the completed books, she realised that the level does not fit me (although I have asked several times if I can get more and harder exercises). On this Friday, I was directly placed in another class and stayed there for the rest of my stay.
That was the luckiest thing that could happen to me. Not only were speed and level appropriate then, but also the teacher (Elif) I had then was so wonderful, kind, willing to help, enthusiastic, authentic, humorous and flexible! I was so happy to be in her class! We laughed a lot in class, created insiders and every day I was looking forward to class and to seeing my teacher and classmates because we had such a great time! I then always left the classroom happily. Moreover, in these last two weeks, my Turkish developed significantly because there was a lot of grammar that was new to me.
Talking about nationalities, average age and class size, I would like to provide you with an overview:
Week 1: very international (USA, Mexico, Belgium, Germany); one aged under 25, two aged around 30, one aged above 75
Week 2: USA, Mexico, Austria, Germany; three aged between 20 and 30, one aged 30
Week 3: Russia, 4x Germany; four aged between 20 and 30, one aged above 50
Week 4: 3x Germany; two aged under 25, one aged above 50
What I like to add: On my last day I received a small gift from RTS and the whole class got some cake. That was so lovely that I had tears in my eyes. I am so thankful for and I miss the time in Istanbul. I enjoyed it a lot!
My 14-year old son attended the school for seven weeks in the summer and his Turkish skills improved greatly. The school is at a great location, easily accessible with public transportation. Teachers are patient and care greatly about improving students' Turkish skills. They also socialized eating out together and visiting places. Highly recommended.
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...I really enjoyed my time in Istanbul. My teacher was very caring and made such a great effort to help us with any issue. Even if we all spoke different languages and weren’t fluently in Turkish, she managed to explain us almost everything in Turkish. During the breaks we were served with tea, coffee and water and the atmosphere was very familiar. On my last day I even got a little gift, a Goodbye-Postcard and a cake. It was a great experience and I will definitely take another course!

Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...Excellent teaching. Class was engaging and greatly improved my language ability.
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...I can't talk about the accommodation and activities because I was staying on my own, but the school is very central, easy to find and the facilities are bright and pleasant (from my classroom window you could see the sea).
There were three of us in class, which allows for personalized learning and I was very lucky to have an excellent teacher, Ayse, with whom I learned a lot. Ayse's grammatical explanations allowed me to understand doubts that I had had for a long time.
Another great thing was the lady who offered us tea and coffee at every break, as well as cakes on many occasions.
There was a very good atmosphere between the different teachers and students. Frankly, very good experience.
Tuba was a great teacher. I arrived with zero knowledge of Turkish language, and after 2 weeks on the intensive course, I can handle basic Turkish now :)
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...I studied for 3 weeks here and it was amazing, I had a great time with my classmates, the classes are small therefore the teachers are usually more focused towards you. If you wanna study for a longer period of time and you’re okay with bigger classes then there are many other considerable options in Istanbul which are cheaper than this. In conclusion if you can afford it then it’s great.
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...I took a 2 week Turkish course at this school. I did not expect so much progress in such a short time.
Special thanks to my teacher NESLIHAN. She was so professional, available and especially very helpful.
it was a wonderful experience. For sure I will be back soonest
The teacher was very kind and nice.
But unfortunately I couldn’t continue the study because of the virus.
I hope I can restart the course as soon as possible.
I had a standard 3 weeks course. My teacher's name was Rumeysa. The lessons were very positive and helped me to raise the my knowledge of Turkish language. The school has wonderful people and a fantastic atmosphere. Special thanks to my teacher Rumeysa, she is an excellent teacher. And thanks to Nigora the administrator, she was very competent.

Location is great and the classrooms are nice. All the personnel was very hospitable and helped me in every way. Even if it was not about the classes.
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...I liked everything! I didn't have any expectation before beides of learning some first Turkish words and sentences.
We were a wonderful Small Group of three to five students and I was more than Happy with Our lovely teacher Seher! She is really competent. She was pushing us but in a very friendly and helpful way! She did a great Job because I learned so much in a very short amount of time only! Actually I am Kind of sad that class is already over... The material is quite good I think only sometimes I got confused because of some Old Turkish words which nowadays are not used an more.
The location is a perfect learning environment: Small, clean, cosy and adaptable to every temperature. I enjoyed the tea, Coffee and Snacks during break. First I was afraid that class could be too long and too exhausting After some time but it wasn't! I had an intensive course and in the first week there was one girl who had only basic course. So we were in the same course but she just left 45 minutes earlier, so she missed something and we continued together the other Day.. So that might not be the best concept for basic program! But me my self I cant say anything Bad about my time in Royal Turkish schools! I learned and enjoyed a lot!! Thank you very much especially to Seher!!☺️
I took a two-week course. I was in a B1 group with another student so it was perfect for learning, it was based on communication which is exactly what I needed. My teacher, İlknur, was very nice, patient, funny and adaptable. I learned a lot and I am very sorry that I didn't stay longer. Not only were our activities in the classroom fun and versatile, but so was our homework.
The school location is great, very easy to find. I liked the whole experience. I would recommend it to everyone learning Turkish and I hope I'll have a chance to come again.
First teacher was useless (oslen), 2nd was really good (Seher), third was doomef whethet good or bad as the shuffle continued (Banu).
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...I was on course in Istanbul for 2 weeks. I think, that it was really very good experience. Our teacher was really very fantastic. Of course I met new people here. :) Location of school was good too, because everything was close. I had private living, so I can not to tell you more informations about this. If somebody is thinking about this course, just go! ;)
P.S. - Thank you so much for nice time. Maybe next year I will come again ♥️
While writing this review is a bit bittersweet because it means that my time here has come to a close, I am more than happy to share my thoughts and impressions with potential future students of the school. When I came to the Royal Turkish Language Institute 6 months ago, I knew no Turkish aside from “yes” and “no.” Since taking these courses, I can now navigate through daily life in Turkey, make new friends without relying solely upon English, and even have small conversations over the phone in Turkish.
My dear and diligent teacher, Rumeysa, stuck with me the whole time, from teaching me the alphabet to learning how to write letters (so that we can become pen pals of course!). The environment that she, and the school have provided is one which is warm, inviting, professional, and which truly nurtures students to brave their first few steps in a new and challenging language. Their kindness is one of the many reason why I and so many other students have been able to make such rapid linguistic progress. Ultimately, the school provides a safe space where students are free to experiment without the fear of making mistakes that might otherwise come in the early stages of language learning.
Surprise excursions as well help connect students from other classes and levels with each other. This too, builds positive relationships where students can practice Turkish together, and support. Over the last half-a-year, I’ve studied alongside students of all ages, backgrounds, and motivations and gained insights as to other individuals learning styles as well, which was very helpful to me.
My classes were never more than three or four persons, and so this allowed us to really engage with the lessons on a very individualized basis. I never felt like I was lost in the classroom. Likewise, if I or any of my classmates were having trouble with some of the material, we were never left behind or left stranded. The difficult piece of grammar was addressed (often very creatively) before moving forward. This personalized and receptive teaching style of one of the greatest assets of the school. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Royal Turkish Schools to anyone seeking to challenge themselves by learning Turkish!
The best experience you could get, very nice staff,I enjoyed the time at school, and I make new friends. All school staff was superb!! School has great location, Only thing I did not like was very dark stairs, light comes when you are basically by the last step and doors to walk up all dark, no elevators!!! Regarding classes all was perfect except I was with an advance group I believe because i leave at 11:30 and they continue to 12:30 class, so the first 2 days I was kind of behind because I did not know what was covered after I left, so I have to take a decision to pay extra to continue until 12:30 and be able to be the next days on the same page as the rest of the students. I was thinking all students in my class were at the same level. But even all this I can say I HAD A GREAT TIME !!!! We did some activities with my class group and was great experience too.
Housing great location, the host lady was super, very...very nice!!!! I have no complains on that. What I did not like is that house was very hot, and also I was looking for a family that do thinks together so I can learn the language on a everyday basis listening to them. More like a family that seats together to eat, etc.. Perhaps family with more family members. I feel like I was on the place on my own most of the time. But like I said The Lady of the house was so nice!!!
I really enjoyed my time at Royal Turkish School, my teacher, ilknur, was amazing. I always looked forward to going to class everyday because I knew I would have fun in a non judgmental zone. The other teachers were very nice and friendly as well, we got along very good and they were always excited to see you. The location was great, being in Taksim its close to the metro, restaurants, istiklal street, a very touristy spot. Our activities were varied as well not just sit in the chair and be lectured to, we played games and had times of just talking about whatever. I didn't choose the housing option through language international but one person I knew who did enjoyed his housing. Maybe the only thing I can say since you asked, students who may be of higher level and who have been there longer may be put with newer students with a lower level for a short period so the same things may be covered an additional time or two, towards the end of my time there I was alone which was great but otherwise being with newer students wasn't really a problem, I think it helped me memorize things by going over them again.
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...I went to Royal Turkish School for 2 months and couldn’t finished all my lesson since i had some issue in getting residence permit. However now i am still continuing my study online in Malaysia. The journey i had in Royal Turkish School was amazing.
First of all, the location of the school itself is located at the center of Taksim and it is easy to reachable.
Next, the teachers and staffs there was so kind that they will always there to give help if you would ask for any! The teaching method used by the school is amazing. They used not only speaking lesson but also writing and listening which the three methods are very important especially in learning languages. The class at Royal Turkish School itself consists of maximum 4-5 numbers of students which I find it very good. This means that the teachers will focused to the students better as compared to a class which contains high number of students.
There are break session in every 45 mins of lesson which is also good since the students will have time to understand the lesson & the lesson doesn’t feel to hard. The teaching method used should be given a praise. When I was there, i am not only learning through the books. However, the teachers there also used different method such as through Turkish musics, films and videos as well. This actually help me & the students to understand the language better. In Royal Turkish School, they treat us like a family. There were times where me & other students and teachers spent our time outside from school. We went to cinema, cafes, restaurants, parks and taking the public transport together. There, we talk to each other in Turkish where in the same time, we applied and improved what we had learnt on the class.
Since we, the students stay away from our family but with them, we never felt alone! I definitely will continue my lesson in Royal Turkish School in the future and definitely recommend this school to whomever who is looking for Turkish language school in Turkey especially in Istanbul.
I was in a class with one other person. The teacher was fantastic and made the class really fun. We got to practice speaking a ton and even played games. Everyone at the school was incredibly friendly and warm.
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...I booked a class from Monday to Friday, but unavoidably arrived at the school on the Tuesday of that week. In fact, I wasn't a day late, but a month early. By mistake, I had indicated March instead of February. No problem! Nigora quickly arranged a time-table for me, which gave me a full five-day week from Wednesday to Tuesday and fitted in with my return-flight to London on Tuesday evening.
My knowledge of Turkish was from 6 weeks of private study. It probably would have been impossible to assess my level: I knew a lot of words but didn't know what to do with them. This did not pose a problem for Seher. By being super-responsive to my confusions and questions she was able to clarify the (very complicated) basics of Turkish grammar. She followed her explanations with lots of examples and exercises. She was also very encouraging and quite a lot of fun.
I am continuing my Turkish in London and will be spending 6 weeks in Turkey this Autumn. I have already booked the first week in your school in Izmir. After some travelling, I intend to return to Istanbul and to my school. I haven't yet booked as I need to stay flexible, but I have no doubt that they will be able to fit me in if I give them notice of a week or so.
What I didn't like was that Istanbul was 14C colder than London in February.
Thanks to all.
Colin Gibson
Everything was so good , the teacher Seher was very cute , listening and teaching in with a funny way that made the class joyful , it was amazing
The Location is very good : transports are very close to the school in taksim ( bus , taxi , metro , funikuler )
Activities : it was very nice to meet other students and other teachers many times (we had breakfast together in an amazing cafe with a wonderful view on istanbul ) that made us practice our turkish more between us ( teachers and students) . The two other teachers ( rümeysa and ilknur) were so kind and helpful too in this experience. we had a great time together and a nice friendship is born .
I didnt choose the housing i prefered doing it on my own because it was very expensive
I traveled from my country Saudi Arabia to İstanbul to attend the intensive course course. I liked so much to the extent I asked them to have an extra hours per day. They agreed thankfully to arrange 4 classes from 9 o’clock and another 3 classes in the afternoon. With a total of 7 classes per day for five days per week It rather hard especially the homework but I enjoyed every minutes. I would like to thank Ms Sahar and Ms. Banu for there efforts even after school.
The only difficulty I met was climbing the three floors stairs with my bad old knees. I lived in my own home in Kayacity residence so I had to travel for about 1.5 hours both ways every day. Sometimes I did my homework in the metro.
I liked my teacher a lot, one of the best teachers I had. Very energetic, lively, explains very well! I progressed a lot in the two weeks thanks to her.
Classes were good, small Groups, facilities very good, Location central and good to reach.
Actually I recommended the School to colleagues of mine
Everything is wonderful good... Near by taksin square
Teacher is helping and friendly
I was lucky to have a private lesson with Ms. Banu Susan because no other students had registered at the same time. However it was very intensive to have a one on one daily 4 hour session course. The teacher, Ms Banu Susan was excellent and extremely helpful. I would have liked more conversational practice if there were other students in the class. I found the course very tiring because we moved fast and there was a lot to process each day. But all in all, the teacher was excellent and her instruction was enriching.
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...I was happy that many of my classes were either 1 on 1 or with only 1 or 2 other students. I had 3 different teachers depending on the day, which was nice to switch up teaching methods. I came as an elementary level but I did feel i was tossed from doing easy lessons below my level one day then the next i would be doing something way past my level which made it hard to grasp the main concepts. Overall however, I learned a lot and was able to get a good base and ability to start speaking. The classrooms were small but nice, great location but hard to find. i had my own housing.

Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...I had a very nice experience. It was a little difficult to find the school but it was nice and not so big. My teacher was a very good teacher.
The lessons were good with a great range of different activities and the time went very quickly. I enjoyed it a lot.
As I was alone, it was also like a private lesson and I could ask all sorts of questions. Of course the time I spent there was a very difficult time for Turkish people and I was very sad for them but it wasn't a big thing for me and it helped to meet people.
I thank you very much for your help and wish you a nice summer.
There were only two students in class with a very good teacher. Good course material as well.
Mostrar detalhes » Ler mais...The teachers were very great. They offered me direct help in all matters, and we spent a good time. The location was very comfortable and central. It was possible to organize your day in the way you wanted to. I went to the courses in the morning and was free in the afternoon for choosing what I wanted to do. All in all I am really happy to have enjoyed the courses.

Our teacher was very nice and well-trained, the exercises were well-balanced among speaking, listening, reading and writing, and the school room was in good maintenance.
Thank you for this experience, I'd like to contact you again for another language journey soon :)
The private course was a really good idea. The teacher took her time to explain the whole process and the subjects to focus on.
The book used was really friendly and well-explained.
The exercises were well-structured.
It was good to take time with teacher to repeat the issues and focus on my needs.
I didn't notice anything bad, just that one week was not enough.
