Learn English & live in your private teacher's home around Galway with Home Language International!
Home Language International (HLI) is a family-run business offering language courses in more than 20 languages in over 30 countries worldwide, including English lessons at an experienced private teacher's home in Ireland. More than 5,000 students take advantage of our services every year. Ian Josephs, Danielle Josephs, their 5 adult children and an expert team of dedicated staff all put in very long hours for HLI.
You stay in an experienced teacher's family home, have one-to-one English lessons and then continue to use the language during the rest of your stay in Galway. Because you are the only student, you are guaranteed individual attention. The lessons are completely designed for you, so the teacher will focus exactly on what you need. Mealtime conversation, television and social contacts are all in English.
All of our teachers in Ireland have a university degree (or equivalent) and/or a recognised teaching certificate. All teachers have been visited by one of our local organisers. Their qualifications have been checked and their homes throughly inspected. During your stay in Galway, a local organiser will monitor your progress and make sure your experience is both happy and successful.
Home Language International (HLI) is accredited by the Accreditation Body for Language Services (ABLS), Association of Language Travel Organisations (ALTO), and UNOSEL.
English lessons are provided by Tracie Burroughs. Tracie is originally from the United States and has been learning and teaching her entire life. She has been trained by Jeremy Castle, owner and director of Shannonside Language Centre for over thirty years. Tracie has been teaching English and writing professionally for more than 25 years.
Lessons are taught in spacious classrooms with lots of natural lighting at Slieve Aughty Centre. May include walks or excursions outside the classroom.

Que tipo de cursos de inglês está à procura?
Quer seja um estudante, um profissional de negócios, ou um viajante, há um curso de línguas em Galway que é o certo para você. Há cursos de inglês disponíveis para todos os níveis de fluência, idades e durações. Simplesmente selecione um tipo de curso da lista abaixo para começar.
Cursos de inglês Geral são para adultos que querem melhorar sua fala, audição, leitura e escrita em inglês. A maioria são para adultos de 16 anos para cima. Cursos de 2 - 48 semanas disponíveis. A maioria dos cursos intensivos em Galway são por volta de 30 aulas por semana.
Estes cursos de verão são indicados para crianças de 8 - 12 anos e adolescentes de 13 - 18 anos que querem estudar inglês no verão. Cursos de 4 - 8 semanas disponíveis no verão de junho a agosto.
Cursos de preparação para testes de inglês para os alunos que desejam se preparar para os testes de proficiência em inglês para melhorar as perspectivas de emprego ou admissão em uma universidade.
